General description:

He has led nearly 20 basic research projects, including four NSFC projects, a project of the first Tsinghua University-University of Cambridge-MIT Low-Carbon Alli-ance’s Seed Fund, EU Marie Curie Program, Central Military Commission and the State Scientific and Technological Commission’s Special Innovation Zone Project, China-Europe Manned Space Science and Engineering Application Project and the first and second batch of projects included in China Space Station Variable-gravity Scientific Experiment Cabinet. He has also undertaken some other projects, e.g., Program 973 of the Ministry of Science and Technology, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Defense Pilot Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Science and Technology’s scientific and technological support project during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period. He has conducted substantive and long-term international collaborative research with top European and US universities and the European Space Agency, etc.
