2 Department of Hydraulic Engineering research achievements were recognized at the 2017 State Science and Technology Awards ceremony on January 8th, where professors accepted the awards at the annual State Science and Technology Award ceremony in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The research project entitled “Rock Filled Concrete Dam”, led by Professor Jin Feng
, won the second  prize of  the State Technological Invention Awards.

The research project entitled “Critical techniques in the coupled fate and transport of sediment, nuclide with thermal discharge and its application in nuclear engineering in coastal regions”, led by Professor Fang Hongwei, won the second prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Awards.
